Adapt & thrive 2025
Each spring, US Soccer brings together all the disability teams to one large camp near Atlanta, GA. For the players on each national team, it is an amazing chance to meet and connect with other disability athletes. For our CP Soccer kids, it is a chance to train alongside our national team players! This three day training camp shares many training features with our summer camp, giving the kids lots of time on the pitch and plenty of scrimmages. It also features a pan disability event at the end.
Unlike our Summer Camp, this event is hosted at a hotel and we therefore open up the eligibility to younger players if their parents want to act as their chaperones. Players 10 and older are allowed to come on their own and share a room with another CP camper. The cost for players sharing a room with another camper is $900. Players 8-10 are required to share a room with their parents and tuition is therefore more expensive. The cost for kids who stay onsite with their parents is $1,300. Only meals for the kids are included in the tuition (parents will need to fend for themselves!). We will be able to accommodate special diet requirements, and there are multiple hospitals nearby in case of emergency.
eligibility requirements
The Adapt and Thrive Camp is open to CP kids 8 and older with hemiplegia, diplegia or a similar physical manifestation of CP that is a result of stroke, TBI, or other form of cerebral palsy. They must be independently ambulatory (no walkers or crutches) and cognitively independent enough to take care of all basic functions (feed themselves, go to the bathroom independently without having accidents). We are not set up to accommodate kids who require significant one-to-one attention.

It is essential that all campers are picked up before 10:00 am Sunday morning.
