help us build a national soccer network
Our players are dispersed across mainstream systems, and they need your help to find our community. Please contact us so we can work together to make an impact.
HOW CP SOCCER CHANGES LIVES
Adapted soccer for children with cerebral palsy, stroke, or traumatic brain injury.
CP Soccer is an innovative nonprofit serving youths with Cerebral Palsy, stroke and TBI who are ambulatory. CP Soccer provides many of these kids their only access to competitive sports and their only chance to spend time with kids like them.
Despite having a physical disability, many of our CP Soccer participants are mainstreamed - meaning they spend their days with able-bodied peers. CP Soccer provides
Regular physical activity through a collaborative sport
Adaptive sport with a level playing field
Outlet for competitive instincts
Friends and community with kids like them
Community and resource for parents and caregivers
Virtual events to connect with the community
Our players develop with our program. We help players develop essential skills through assistant coaching and internship opportunities. We also provide a path and support to the US Para-7-a-side National Team.
We have virtual camps and events as well as in-person events in selected geographies.
3 Ways to Participate in CP Soccer
Online soccer trainings and socials reaching kids with CP across the entire country
Meet and enjoy soccer with other CP kids through our 10 regional programs
An entire week of sharing and soccer training with other kids with cerebral palsy
Stroke/Cerebral Palsy/TBI affects roughly one in every 1,500 children, so CP Soccer is often the first time our players get to socialize with similarly disabled kids.
Kids' participation in CP Soccer impacts them physically and socially in profound ways.
