Alan Botkin - Founder

Alan Botkin is a parent and lifelong educator who has served as a teacher, coach, and school administrator. Alan is a former athlete himself, having played baseball at Clemson University and eventually in the minor leagues. A state licensed school administrator and teacher, he has also served as an athletic director and coach. Recently working in Student Services at Georgia Tech, Alan is anxious to focus on starting and growing CP Soccer Atlanta, while providing an opportunity for even more Atlanta youth to participate in the sport booming interest across our city through the recent rise of the Atlanta United FC.

“Having watched our son, Andy, thrive during his short time with CP Soccer through last summer’s sleep-away camp, my wife and I are very excited about the opportunity to share similar experiences with other families in the Atlanta area. Not only did Andy find the time on the field with similarly skilled soccer lovers to be pure fun, but he expressed feelings of joy and contentment from the opportunity to enjoy soccer with others of similar ability who came to be his friends. CP Soccer is sport in its purest form!”

“I look forward to meeting the families and kids, hoping they will not hesitate to reach out to learn more about this wonderful organization and ultimately take the opportunity to participate during our spring sessions in Brookhaven or at the summer camp held in June at Clemson University.”
